Google Adsense Makes Sense?

As you can see, I have just added google adsense adverts to my blog posts. I used a plugin called Easy Adsense. It was indeed very easy to setup.

Google adsense is free to join. You just sign up, get your unique adsense code and then install the plugin. Adsense works by placing targetted ads which are (usually) related to your blog topic. If any visitor to your blog click on those links, google get paid by the advertiser and you get a percentage of that payment. Don`t be tempted to click on the adsense ads yourself as that is not allowed and you could get yourself banned!

Some may find these ads a distraction and a blemish on their blog, but if you are just beginning, they are an easy way of getting some income from your blogging efforts. You can make alterations to the text colors to blend the ads into your blog if you wish.

Anyway, I have just started using them on this blog and so it will be interesting to see how it goes. I am still not sure if I will leave them on the posts or just have them on the sidebar, time will tell.
